W-G's Kindergarten knew about the characters and setting in the story "The Polar Express." They knew what the problem was in the story and the solution. They also skipped counted by 2's, 5's, and 10's with trains along with designing the pj's they wore on paper.

Our staff enjoyed some conversation and breakfast that was made by our Administration this morning just in time for Christmas Break!

Preschool students continued in their study of "How Things are Built" with Mrs. Junkins. We learned about the main parts of the structural system of a rocket. The frame has a nose cone, a body, and fins. We also learned rockets are made of strong and lightweight materials. After building our rockets we launched them in the school cafeteria and WOW - some of them really flew!

4th Grade STEM Enrichment students used Light o Rama hardware and software to hook up lights, program sequences, and create their own synchronized Christmas Light Show! When at the school - peek your head in the MakerDen and check it out!

The teachers at WG have been busy decking the halls with all of their students' hard work. It is really looking festive!
