Students listened to the story of pumpkin Jack, helped Mrs. Casey decide how to carve his face, used their five senses to explore the pumpkin & predicted what would happen over the year. They will get to watch pumpkin Jack decompose & sprout into a pumpkin plant.


Our building was quite "colorful" today for Class Color Day! Our students were awesome for today's spirit day theme!!
Reminder: The parade is tonight & it starts at 6:30pm. The powderpuff game will follow. Tomorrow's theme is BLUE & GOLD!! Good luck to all of our tigers!

Mrs. Zechman and Mrs. Burden's students are learning about spiders. Each student found 3 facts, made hats and then shared their facts with their friends!

This week, Madalynn's positive behavior punch card reward was lunch with Mrs. Wildermuth. Great job Madalynn!!


Miss Brinkman has started to display the "Still Life" drawings in the hallways that her junior high and high school art students have created. This was their very first project for the 2023-2024 school year! Great Job students!


Mrs. Ludwig's 4th grade Social Studies classes visited the White Memorial Library on last week to check out the Auglaize County Historical Society display.


Last week, students in Miss. Nolan's English 9 worked with Mrs. Junkins in the green screen room to record a news broadcast! Based on events from their class novel, students spent the week writing a script, recording, and editing their videos.

Last week was apple week in Mrs. McKinney's preschool room. The students did some apple tasting, predicted which apple they would like the best then they graphed their predictions on the board. They also got to taste the different color apples. What a fun ending to apple week!

Mr. Schnippel and his students had great weather at the Farm Science Review that they attended last week!


Mrs. Lee took her Physics & Astronomy classes & visited the eRockets warehouse in Dayton to built their first rocket prototypes for the American Rocketry Challenge. Their rockets must reach a height of 820 ft & return to Earth is 43-46 seconds to qualify for Nationals in May.


I received an update from C-R's Athletic Director this morning on their injured player. He was released from the hospital late last night and has regained his feeling and was up and walking around. He even joined his teammates this morning! Thank you for all your prayers and we continue to wish for a speedy recovery!

It's beginning to look like Fall in Kindergarten!
Both classes did math fall trees, sequencing with "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves," and some fine motor tree activities!


Homecoming festivities begin on Monday, September 25th. We can't wait to see our students and staff participate!

Students in Mr. Wireman's class worked to create a model of the Solar System by coding Sphero robots! Even though we didn't get the whole system in working order - a lot of students were able to get their planets revolving around the sun!
