Miss Crates’ Kindergarten celebrated Polar Express Day by doing addition problem with marshmallows!!

Preschool students continued in their study of "How Things are Built" with Mrs. Junkins. We learned about the main parts of the structural system of a rocket. The frame has a nose cone, a body, and fins. We also learned rockets are made of strong and lightweight materials. After building our rockets we launched them in the school cafeteria and WOW - some of them really flew!

Mrs. Casey's class was welcomed by a winter wonderland for Polar Express Day! They received a special package straight from the North Pole with an icy cold bell from Santa and popcorn for a movie! They also boarded and took a ride on the Polar Express!

Mrs. Brinkman was able to display her Kindergarten - 5th grade art work last night at the Elementary Concert. Great job students!

The teachers at WG have been busy decking the halls with all of their students' hard work. It is really looking festive!

4th Grade STEM Enrichment students used Light o Rama hardware and software to hook up lights, program sequences, and create their own synchronized Christmas Light Show! When at the school - peek your head in the MakerDen and check it out!

Mrs. Casey's class has been hard at work in the writing and art center. They have been making crafts, writing letters to Santa, practicing writing our December word wall words and using magazines to make their Christmas wish lists. They are using the classroom Santa mailbox to send it to the North Pole!
