Mrs. Patton's class read up on, completed research, prepared a speech (recorded on the green screen in character), and created a digital poster in Canva. Students included a QR Code with a link to their speech on their posters. Below students are pictured snapping QR Codes and watching their classmates' speeches; learning about a wide variety of impressive historical figures!

The Iditarod Trail Mail has made it back to W-G! The tradition of carrying mail goes back to the days when the Iditarod National Trail was used as a supplies route. We were happy to have Ohio native Jessica Klejka carry our letter on her sled for the entire 2024 Iditarod!

Mr. Downey & his Athletic Training class taught 3rd grade important life-saving skills. They learned hands-on CPR, how to help someone who's choking & how to use an AED machine. Everyone was eager to learn! The students watched different activities & practiced what they'd been taught. It's not just about learning facts; it's about feeling confident and ready to help others in an emergency.
