Mrs. Casey's class has spent the past few weeks observing the life cycle of a butterfly. Students enjoyed watching the changes and documented their observations weekly. They also made their own caterpillars that turned into a chrysalis and then a butterfly! They were able to release their butterflies into nature before the weekend!


Miss Crates' Kindergarteners have been celebrating the end of the year with an ABC Countdown! They've done art, dressed in blue, ate donuts, talked about the future and more while creating a memory book for each day!



Waynesfield-Goshen 8th graders took a trip to Ohio Hi Point to tour the campus and learn about the programs they offer.


Waynesfield-Goshen's FFA members are attending the Ohio FFA Convention & Expo !

Students in Miss Crates and Mrs. Wildermuth's classes used the Osmo Tangrams to review basic geometric concepts and relationships. In addition to being a lot of fun, these tangram puzzles also promoted positive peer interactions and enhanced problem-solving abilities.



Athletic Results from last night!
HS BB beat Jackson Center 1-0! Landin DeWitt threw a complete game 1-hitter for the Tigers. Striking out 13!
HS SB dropped their game to Ada.
HS Track and Field competed at the Riverside Invitational and brought home the hardware!

We'd like to thank Mrs. Zorn from US Bank for coming into Mrs. Wildermuth's Kindergarten class and talking about saving money. She read a book to the students and gave them tips on how to save money along with a sticker, sucker and a smartie.


Another one of Mrs. Wildermuth's students, Madalynn, who conquered her first word list- moving onto her second list! Way to go!


Our W-G FFA is headed to the State Convention in style. Check out some of the earrings they made in the MakerDen! Students used sublimation, 3D printing, laser engraving, and/or a combination of equipment to create earrings made of acrylic, wood, PLA, faux leather, and more!

Ms. Hennon and Mrs. Kaffenbarger went to a luncheon last week to accept a grant and an award from Activate Allen County for PE equipment! This is the third time Waynesfield-Goshen has received this grant!

The HS Baseball team travels down to Day Air Ballpark, the home of the Dayton Dragons, tomorrow afternoon to take on the USV Rams. Gates open at 2:30pm. First pitch is set for 3:00pm. This game is free to the public. Come on down and support our Tigers tomorrow afternoon!


Mrs. Zechman’s 2nd Graders used templates to create interesting & funny fairy tales; these provided a creative way for kids to practice parts of speech. They then created props in the Makerspace to help tell their stories. Use the QR Code below to see their recordings.
