Students applied what they have learned in Photoshop - photo corrections, working with selections, and organizing artwork on layers to create sublimated magnets that they pressed out in the MakerDen.
Kindergartners learned how to read data from a graph while pretending to be dinosaurs and learning that a noun can name a place. They wrote sentences telling where their dinosaur liked to visit.

Mrs. Lee's Chemistry students learned about sodium alginate and then made sodium alginate polymers in lab!

Mrs. Casey read "Pete The Cat I Love My White Shoes." The preschoolers learned color recognition, sequencing, cause & effect & story retelling. By the end of the week, they were able to assist in reading the story. The students ended the week by participating in a sensory walk!
From pear picking to making pear sauce, Mrs. Searson's Life Skills class does it all !
The OSU Auglaize county extension office visited earlier this week & talked to the third graders about germs and how they spread. They had the class pass a football around that had powder on it, then used a black light to see the "germs". They then had them put their hands on a piece of bread to see what happens to the bread in a few days.
These last couple weeks, Miss Brinkman's art students have been working on designing a hexagon for their big hallway mural. All students k-12 have put their style and personalities into the mural.
