Today begins Staff Appreciation Week at Waynesfield-Goshen. Thank you to our wonderful staff for all they do!
WG's Inaugural Rocketry Team competed in The American Rocketry Challenge, TARC. They had to design & construct 3 rockets that would fly to an altitude of exactly 850 feet & separate after apogee, landing within 42-45 seconds. Our team ended up 109th place out of 797 teams.
We recently had some improvements and new equipment added to our playground! Check out some of the Elementary students finally being able to enjoy all of this on what was a nice and sunny day!
Miss Crates’ Kindergarten Class has been celebrating the end of year with an ABC Countdown! Each day has been a super fun theme. Here are a few pictures of some of what they’ve done:

Take a look at the trip to Lima Memorial Hospital that our Anatomy students went on where they were able to engage and have discussions with some medical professionals.
Students in Mrs. Howard's ELA class read a story about the role and impact of Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) in WWII. In a co-taught lesson with Mr. Wireman and the Makerspace, 4/5 students created and flew paper airplanes. The winners are listed on the picture!

Today is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! W-G would like to send a big thank you to all of our bus drivers for getting our students back and forth to school each day. Our bus drivers help get our students off to a good start each morning and we thank them for what they do each day!
Come out and support the arts today for the HS Spring Concert and Art Show! Doors open at 2:30pm and the concert starts at 3:00pm! Hope to see you there!
