Last week, students in Miss. Nolan's English 9 worked with Mrs. Junkins in the green screen room to record a news broadcast! Based on events from their class novel, students spent the week writing a script, recording, and editing their videos.

Last week was apple week in Mrs. McKinney's preschool room. The students did some apple tasting, predicted which apple they would like the best then they graphed their predictions on the board. They also got to taste the different color apples. What a fun ending to apple week!

Mrs. Lee took her Physics & Astronomy classes & visited the eRockets warehouse in Dayton to built their first rocket prototypes for the American Rocketry Challenge. Their rockets must reach a height of 820 ft & return to Earth is 43-46 seconds to qualify for Nationals in May.

I received an update from C-R's Athletic Director this morning on their injured player. He was released from the hospital late last night and has regained his feeling and was up and walking around. It's beginning to look like Fall in Kindergarten! Both classes did math fall trees, sequencing with "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves," and some fine motor tree activities!

Students in Mr. Wireman's class worked to create a model of the Solar System by coding Sphero robots! Even though we didn't get the whole system in working order - a lot of students were able to get their planets revolving around the sun!

Earlier this week, the Yearbook class went to Wapakoneta High School for the Josten's Yearbook Conference. Students learned about the yearbook program, how to create yearbook themes, how to get high-quality photos on phones, and current trends to add to the yearbook.
