WEDNESDAY – 5/3/2017 – W-G O VT&F  - Cool weather/sweatshirt or -warm-up suit – spikes for field events – “Recovery/Conditioning Day” – 2 X’s on FB field – 8 station stretch circuit; Planks and Pops Tallahassee; Pat’s  protocol/”walk in the park.” – DRINK – S/H/J’s – 350-250-150 x 2; 3 min; 5 min. RUNNERS – Coach Hennon – 40 min recovery run (change pace at various intervals) – see Coach Hennon; THROWS – Coach Schnippel; HJ –approach, T.O. Mechanics – drill arches and flops; LJ Approaches, T.O’s (landings – spring board on HJ mat); Pole vault Drills – Plant/T.O.; Fig 4; Turn-overs -  Do S/H/J’s workout after vault drills. Hurdlers – Hurdle warm-up drills - 6x200m 5 hurdle runs ( 3-5hurdle ‘start” runs; then 3-5 hurdle “finish” runs) WB recovery – (training to improve velocity between hurdles – improve last hurdle clearance to finish !!). Team stretch/cool down - “Pre-Meet’ tomorrow. GO TIGERS!!!
