MONDAY – 4/10/2017 – W-G OVT&F – Week 4 –Moving toward mid-season -  Sunscreen/waterbottle/spikes – Vaulters bring poles/spikes – Batons as needed -  “Recovery/Conditioning/Event Day” – “On the track” 3:20 PM – WSJA – 2 laps; Stretch Tallahassee –  1 lap – Hydrants one lap; 8 station Strength/Stretch Circuit; Pre-Agility protocol – DRINK – THROWS – Coach Schnipple; RUNNERS – Coach Hennon – 30 minute run or 90-80-70 challenge Pace practice - 1200 – G/B - 4:30/4 mins – 800 – 3:00/2:40 – 400—80/70; 3 mins/8 mins rest Then 3x400 70/65 – 3 mins – Strides on grass; stretch;  HURDLERS – Warm-ups, Block starts 0ver 2-3 reg height hurdles; then 6 x 200m (5 hurdles “300 m hurdle” runs  - S//J’s – 16x30m Hill runs; Sand hops x 5; hurdle hop accels, long stride; Drivre stride accels; then 6x80 m accels “barefoot” on FB field; Baton practice as needed; stretch/cool down Vaulters – swing/turnover drills near end of practice (after hills or hurdles – full run vaulting depending on wind; Team stretch/cool down;  NO WR Tonight – EVENT PRACTICE!! Have all implements and poles ready for departure to Ridgemont tomorrow afternoon. Begin to make travel plans for practice next Thursday, Friday, and next Monday as there is no school those days!
